Services

Six things, and how far each one goes.

Most businesses need one or two of these rather than all six. Here is what each actually involves, so you can work out which is which before you ring.

Websites

A site that earns its keep.

Most small business websites do one job: convince somebody who has already heard of you that you are worth ringing. Everything else is secondary, so that is what we design for first.

Every site includes

  • A design that suits your business and the people it serves
  • Proper behaviour on phones, where most of your visitors are
  • Enquiry and contact forms that reach you reliably
  • Search setup from the start, rather than bolted on later
  • Fast loading and a secure connection
  • Google Analytics, so you can see what people actually do

Where a project needs it

  • A blog or news section
  • Image galleries
  • Multiple languages
  • Domain, hosting and ongoing maintenance

Online shops

Selling and taking bookings online.

Whether it is products going out in the post or rooms and appointments filling up, the same thing decides whether it works: the shop has to be as straightforward to run from your side as it is to buy from.

A cardboard parcel in a patch of sunlight, ready to go out

What this covers

  • Product catalogue and stock management
  • Secure payment processing
  • Order management, so everything due to go out is in one place
  • Booking and scheduling for businesses that take reservations rather than orders
  • Delivery, collection and postage options
  • Sales reporting, so you can see what is actually shifting

Bespoke software

When the spreadsheet stops coping.

Every business has one job that runs on a spreadsheet, a paper diary and somebody’s memory. When that stops coping, we build the small piece of software that fits how you actually work. Mourne Media is run by a software engineer by trade, so this is not a sideline.

A laptop with a code editor open

The kind of thing we build

  • Quoting, booking, job tracking and invoicing in one place
  • Connecting systems that do not talk to each other
  • Dashboards and reporting from the data you already collect
  • Automating the admin you do every week
  • Customer or staff portals

How we scope it

  • We start from the bottleneck, not the technology
  • The smallest tool that removes the problem, not a platform
  • A written quote before anything is built
  • Support after it goes live, like everything else we do

Getting found

Turning up when somebody nearby searches.

For most local businesses this matters more than the website itself. Somebody two miles away is searching for what you do right now, and the question is only whether they find you or the next one along.

A laptop on a wooden desk with a page editor open

What this covers

  • Keyword research based on what people near you actually type
  • On-page work so each page targets something specific
  • Technical audits: speed, structure, and what stops pages ranking
  • Google Business Profile and local listings
  • Plain reporting on where you rank and what changed

Social media

Posted regularly, in your voice.

Facebook and Instagram. The hard part is not the first week, it is the twentieth, so this is built around turning up consistently rather than in bursts. We can run it for you, or set things up so you can run it yourself.

A phone showing social media apps beside a coffee

What this covers

  • Content creation and design
  • Scheduling and publishing
  • Replying to comments and messages
  • Stories and reels
  • Branded templates so posts look like they belong together
  • A monthly report and recommendations

Advertising

Aimed at the area you actually serve.

Paid campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Your ad spend goes directly to the platform and is separate from what we charge, so you can always see where the money went.

A video edit under way on a desktop computer

What this covers

  • Strategy and audience research
  • Campaign planning and setup
  • Ad creative: graphics, copy and video editing
  • Performance monitoring and A/B testing
  • Targeting adjustments as results come in
  • Monthly reporting in plain English

What it costs

Every job is quoted on its own.

A three-page site for a joiner and an online shop for a farm gate business are not the same piece of work, so there is no useful list price for either. Tell us what the business does and what you need, and you will get a written figure before anything starts.

The first conversation costs nothing, and if we are not the right fit we will say so.
